The gorgeous and rippy Benjamin is a 24-year-old English actor who was introduced to us over the summer playing sexy teenage Mai protector Alex Petrov on the now defunct “The Nine Lives of Chloe King”. I’m not aware of any new projects in his future, but he does have a steamy photo shoot in an upcoming Troix Magazine and perhaps he dropped some hints to the magazine about his future plans.

“The Glee Project” co-winner Damian McGinty, of Celtic Thunder, makes his “Glee” debut tonight as Rory Flanagan, an Irish exchange student who is living with Brittany’s family. While Damian is only guaranteed a seven-episode arc, I’m very much hoping that his infectious personality and extreme likability convince Ryan Murphy and Co. that he deserves to be a bigger part of the show’s future. Damian is the first installment of a major hotness upgrade “Glee” is getting mid-season. Next week, Grant Gustin (next Tuesday’s celeb post, perhaps?) will join the cast as a gay member of the Dalton Warblers who is set on stealing Blaine away from Kurt. It has also recently been announced that Chord Overstreet will indeed reprise his role as “Trouty Mouth” Sam after having turned down the opportunity over the summer in fit of pique at not being made a permanent cast member.

As many of you probably already know, Keir is a 19-year-old Canadian actor best known for his portrayal of of Marshall Gregson on Showtime’s now-defunct “United States of Tara”. As with everything on the show, Marshall’s coming to grips with his own sexual identity over the course of three seasons — and what it means in terms of relationship options — is overshadowed by having to cope with and support the insanity of his mother. Keir’s portrayal of a gay teen, whose personal struggles are forced to be secondary to those of his mother’s, is touching and feels very honest. He also recently appeared in the lead role in the dark comedy “It’s Kind of a Funny Story”, opposite Zach Galifanakis and Emma Roberts. It is a quirky, yet definitely entertaining film about a boy who temporarily commits himself to a psychiatric ward and his experiences there.
