Whether it be cavorting with his girlfriend in Mexico, covering a men’s magazine with slightly mature themes or pursuing his career, Mr. Bieber certainly gets around and keeps busy. And in case you are worried about what might have happened to the poor chick’s leg, it’s just a new tattoo that I couldn’t bring myself to actually post.

Alexander Ludwig
Alexander, who first appeared on my radar five years ago in “The Seeker: The Dark is Rising” as a potential future hottie, has gone far beyond what I could have even imagined. The recent Abercrombie model has bulked up for a major supporting role as Cato in “The Hunger Games”, due out in 2012. Between his candid pics and photo shoots, Alexander has been a constant revelation and source of wonder this past year.

Austin Butler
One of five holder-overs from last year’s list (yes, I’m that fickle), Austin has followed up his guest role in the two seasons of the cancelled “Life Unexpected” with a recurring role on “Switched at Birth”, a surprisingly impressive family drama that debuted this past summer on ABC Family and is scheduled to resume in January. Austin is the total package, and I’m hoping this role and show last a bit longer.

Bo Develius
I don’t know all that much about Bo, other than that he is a fairly successful model, did a huge catalog shoot for Pull & Bear this fall, and is to-die-for gorgeous. But he pops up daily on my Tumblr dashboard, and I can’t help but share the awesomeness.

Callan McAuliffe
While “I am No. 4” may have been a bit of a flop, Callan’s scene-stealing supporting role, following up his endearing performance in “Flipped” has made him one of my current favorites. Yes, he lost out to Josh Hutcherson (wtf) for the role of Peeta in “The Hunger Games”, but he has upcoming roles in “The Great Gatsby” and “Paradise Lost”. I suspect he will be thrilling us with his looks and talents for years to come.

Cameron Monaghan
Cam is the most unexpected and maybe mind-blowing of my new obsessions this year. His role as Ian Gallagher on the US (Showtime) version of “Shameless” was breath-taking. And watching him in interviews, he is so thoughtful, articulate and intelligent — and yes gorgeous. I can’t wait for January for “Shameless” to resume and a new weekly dose of Ian/Cam. And if you missed his appearance on “NCIS” (S08E18), iTunes and Hulu exist for a reason.

Damian McGinty
Damo … oh my. I hardly expected a contestant on “The Glee Project” to interest me, let alone steal my breath away. Whatever people might claim his shortcomings as an actor or singer are … (jealous bitches), he more than makes up for in a personality that anyone around him or watching him immediately falls in love with. He was only guaranteed a seven-episode arc on “Glee”, but I know I’m far from the only person (including many cast members), who hope that’s just the beginning of his role on the show.

Dylan O’Brien
Yes, all of the “Teen Wolf” hype is going to the shirtless hunks who are Tyler Posey, Colton Haynes and Tyler Hoechlin. But for my money, the understated, best friend Stiles (Dylan) and his obsessive need to to be liked (“Do gay guy find me attractive?”), is the real showstopper, and the reason I’m ecstatic about a second season for what I was convinced would be yet another MTV dud — and am glad I was wrong.

Justin Bieber
Nobody could be more surprised than I am at seeing the Biebs on this list. I avoided him like the plague for a long time. But, despite his overt and aggressive hetersexuality, he has finally blossomed into a legitimate sex symbol, complete with abs and attitude. I have to admit that “Never Say Never”, even if it’s all propaganda, was good film-making and I enjoyed my first listen of “Mistletoe”, which is the first of Justin’s albums I’ve ever bought. I doubt it will be the last, however.

Nick Jonas
Nick is yet another hold-over from last year. Other than his amazing talent and an impossible-to-describe appeal to me, the fact that he got photographed shirtless on vacation and then looked drop-dead studly in a baseball uniform at this year’s MLB All-Star Weekend kept him in the forefront of my thoughts.

Paddy Mitchell
Paddy is another holdover, and I suspect as long as he keeps getting paid to have people publish pictures of him, he will be a fixture here. Who knew the English still could breed such perfection?

Sean Berdy
Sean is my most inspirational and heart-warming new crush. This deaf actor is amazingly emotive and charming. His role on “Switched at Birth” is a huge part of what makes the show so endearing — though part of which is being one of three deaf actors on the show, the twist that makes it completely unique and engaging. He’s also a tremendous advocate for spreading knowledge of sign language and has put money into remaking several music videos on YouTube, with the “singing” being done by signing.

Steven R. McQueen
Apparently I’m the last person in the world to realize Steven is the grandson of the legendary Steve McQueen. Still, while the entire world swoons over Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley and even, recently, Michael Trevino, it is Steven, in the role of Jeremy, who keeps me excited about “The Vampire Diaries”. And if you’ve never seen “Everwood”, Jeremy doesn’t show up until season 4, but it’s a great show, and Jeremy’s role as a 14-year-old coming to terms with being gay in small-town Colorado is priceless.

Tom Daley
Tom is the fifth and final hold-over from last year, and is entering, at 16, what is the biggest year of his life. He is one of, if not the most, preeminent English athlete heading into this summer’s London Olympics. The weight of an entire nation will be on his slim shoulders (and well-defined, muscular torso), as he goes head to head and toe to toe with the best in the world trying to win gold and glory for Queen and Country.
